Alturo Lounge
Tucked away in the charming hills of Malvern, Alturo Lounge at 20 Bellevue Terrace brings a fresh, laid-back vibe to the local dining scene. Whether you're a breakfast enthusiast, a tapas lover, or someone who just appreciates a smooth cappuccino with a view, this place has something for you.
What really sets Alturo Lounge apart is how it manages to feel both cozy and eclectic. The space is accessible, with a wheelchair-friendly entrance and seating, making it welcoming to all. It’s the kind of spot where you can drop in for a quick bite, settle in for a leisurely brunch, or catch up with friends over a pitcher of sangria or a glass of Stella Artois.
Let’s talk breakfast first, because Alturo Lounge knows how to do it right. The English Breakfast is a favorite among regulars-hearty, satisfying, and well-balanced. But if you're leaning more toward a health-conscious start, the Buddha Bowl is a solid pick. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful seasoning, and just the right amount of crunch make it more than just a “healthy option”-it’s a flavorful standout.
Midday? That’s when the menu really starts to shine. Their Beef Burger and Pulled Pork options are full of smoky, meaty depth. You can pair either with a side of Macaroni Cheese or opt for something lighter like a Soup of the Day or a fresh salad. For those who like variety, the Mixed Tapas Self Selection is a crowd-pleaser-it allows you to pick and choose your own flavor journey. It’s particularly popular with solo diners who want a taste of everything or groups who love sharing plates.
And then there’s the drink menu, which is, frankly, a bit of a hidden gem. Alturo Lounge has a great wine list, an impressive cocktail menu, and a surprisingly strong tea and coffee selection. From a classic latte to a refreshing iced tea, every beverage feels thoughtfully curated. If you're in a more indulgent mood, the Strawberry and Cream Milkshake or the Strawberry Shake will hit that nostalgic sweet spot.
Evenings tend to have their own rhythm here. It's not uncommon to find guests sipping cider, enjoying small plates, and winding down the day in good company. For a lighter dinner, you can go with bibimbap-a dish that blends Korean flavors with a modern twist, giving a welcome international touch to the menu. And of course, if you’re the type who likes to round things off with something sweet, the desserts at Alturo Lounge are just as inviting as everything else.
The service leans casual but attentive, and the vibe is just right for everything from a solo work session to a cozy dinner with friends. The restaurant is popular for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it’s easy to see why-there’s no weak spot in the experience.
The real magic of Alturo Lounge is how effortlessly it blends comfort with creativity. One moment you’re sipping on a cappuccino, scrolling through emails, and the next, you're sampling a quirky tapas combo with a chilled glass of wine. It’s not trying too hard, but it’s delivering all the right notes.
If you're the kind of diner who loves a little bit of everything-flavor, atmosphere, great drinks, and solid comfort food-Alturo Lounge is the kind of place that quietly earns a spot in your regular rotation.

We had an amazing early dinner here. We had a tapas plate, Bang Bang Chicken Noodles and a Smashed Burger and the quality and taste was incredible. Very good value for money and would definitely return.
We just love coming here after a late return home from work. The menu is diverse enough to suit our varying tastes when we can't face cooking. I absolutely love the tapas approach, and my husband swears by the burgers. Best dessert, as recommended by Dan, is the gluten free cheesecake with mixed berries. So delicious, light and with the added satisfaction of feeling as if it's that little bit better for you! Friendly, helpful staff and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. What's not to love...
This was the first time going here after driving past it so many times. To say when I walked in it had that WOW factor was an understatement. It is such a lovely place the atmosphere and the decor are out of this world it is like stepping back in time in a Mediterranean country. The staff are fantastic and food is great. The big bonus to me is it is dog friendly
Lovely food with a great selection. Tapas is a good choice if you want a light bite. The Beers good and the services is always with a smile.
We visited the Malverns from Australia and loved it so much i think we ate a meal here 4 times in a few days and brought some other fellow Aussie travellers to dine with us as well! Really creative and comfortable place. We sat and painted with watercolours and easily spent several hours relaxing here. We loved the burgers and the carrot and coriander soup was delicious too. So great!
